Dreaming about tomorrow’s success 💭

Hey Reader...

Taylor here! 👋 Here's a question for you to kick off the week...

How much time do you spend each week on urgent work vs. projects that will help you get where you want to go in the long term?

It’s difficult to prioritize non-urgent work (as Josh points out in this week's voicemail below).

I’ve had a lot of conversations with business owners and fellow creatives recently about what success means to them. I keep hearing these 3 things...

Success is feeling:

  • Free, free to spend time in ways I love, and financial freedom
  • At peace, not being overly stressed by life’s challenges, even when shit hits the fan
  • That the work I love doing is sustainable for the long haul

I left Josh a voicemail in response to his dreams about planning for future success, to celebrate a win of mine; a friend offered to help me and I said yes! I’m usually the person rushing to help others and give-give-give, but today I accepted help and am proud I did.

If you need to prioritize longer-term goals, or have question marks around a decision, totally eavesdrop and listen to our latest voicemails to each other.👇 Feel free to leave a comment or drop an emoji back.

Hey Reader... What's something on your to-dos this week that you're absolutely dreading?Taylor here 👋 I’ve been thinking a lot about how to make the tasks I dread more fun. 👀 So, I left Josh a public voicemail about it and he responded from the forest (yes, you’ll literally hear the leaves crunching below him) with his new way of marking energy drains and gains on his to-dos/calendar. If you’re thinking about how to end your work day without feeling like the gas tank is running low, totally...
